What is RSS?

RSS (which, in its latest format, stands for “Really Simple Syndication”) is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated content such as blog entries, news headlines or podcasts. An RSS document, which is called a “feed,” “web feed,” or “channel,” contains either a summary of content from an associated web site or the full text. RSS makes it possible for people to keep up with their favorite web sites in an automated manner that’s easier than checking them manually. Read More at Wikipedia

So What Reader Should I Use?
Well the great thing about RSS feeds is that they work in so many different types of viewers. Allot of the newest browsers have them built in, but you may want to check out these different online readers:

Bloglines has been around since the beginning…
Google Reader
Of course Google uses RSS… They call their reader “an inbox for the web”. I think that is a good way to explain why I use an RSS reader.
