A Pluot is a complex cross hybrid of plum and apricot, being ¾ plum and ¼ apricot in parentage. “Pluot” is a registered trademark of Zaiger’s Genetics. They also the created the:
- Peacotum — a hybrid of peach, apricot and plum
- Aprium — a patented hybrid of apricot and plum
- Nectarcot — a hybrid of nectarine and apricot
