This is NOT an example of digital manipulation. This image is all too real. Captured on film; this gelatin silver print was made from one negative and one exposure. Yet how could it be? Have you figured it out yet? (Compared to the original 16×20 print, the image above is missing allot of detail because it is only a photo of photo. It will be fun when I get a chance to re-print a new and improved second edition using modern scanning/retouching workflow. )
